Sustainable Mobility with Light Electric Vehicles
This studio will focus upon the proposition that we can achieve convenient and efficient urban mobility, while greatly reducing energy demand and carbon emissions, through use of light, intelligent electric vehicles organized into new kinds of urban-scale systems. It will pay particular attention to the potential application of this concept in Singapore.

Reinventing the Automobile 2050
Im November findet in Singapur eine Design Konferenz statt, auf der William J. Mitchel über den Inhalt seiner Forschungsarbeiten am MIT und seinem neusten Buch spricht. Leider kommt das Buch "Reinventing the Automobile 2050" erst im Frühjahr 2010 heraus.

"Club of Pioneers" von BMW
Die Internet-Plattform "Club of Pioneers" richtet sich an Vordenker im Bereich nachhaltige Mobilitätsideen. Sie wurde im Februar als "Ausgewählter Ort 2008" der Initiative "Deutschland - Land der Ideen" ausgezeichnet.
Auf der Website www.clubofpioneers.com diskutieren Pioniere über die Mobilität von morgen und tauschen Informationen und Trends aus. Der Club of Pioneers wurde Ende 2006 von der BMW Group initiiert. Anke Herder ist die Projektleiterin der Plattform.
